I had to crank the volume all the way up to listen to this record, at least mine is clear with almost no pops and cracks. The packaging of this is laughable. I wish they would just repress Spice World, this release is completely unnecessary unless you're a Spice Girls fan/collector.
EDIT: I take back what I said about pops and cracks, side B is full of them lol

One of the worst picture discs when it comes to the sound, still a great collectible piece, but not sure I will ever play it again, maybe the B-side, but doubt it.

Oh I'm so glad I'm not the only one who has the problem with the scratch - I've now gone through 2 copies from Amazon with the exact same scratch sound on side one. What a cock-up. All I want is Spiceworld on vinyl, this Greatest Hits is a waste of time, especially with such horrendous quality...!

Oh my God, the scratch all the way through! It sounds really low. Packaging is really cheap. I’m asking for my money back.

Literally the worst in every way: ☑ snaps ☑ crackles ☑ pops ☑ volume is bizarrely low ☑ the stylus humming across the record is wretchedly loud ☑ no bass? ☑ tossed into a plastic bag ☑ nicotine yellow???

I've not listened to the full thing yet, but the first 2 tracks have plenty of clicks and pops that you wouldn't expect from a brand new record. I always have low expectations of picture discs, but the attraction of the product is generally a selling point if it's the only version available to purchase on vinyl. and the pictures online made this look like a well thought out, pretty and appealing picture disc. but in reality they have used the cheapest, and most prone to wrinkling, plastic inner sleeve, and because it's a die cut sleeve it looks shoddy as hell, and brings your attention to the usually adequate cardboard that suddenly feels flimsy too.
It feel's like a cheap mid-price compilation released on a sub-sidary of universal. It feels like i missed out on the first immaculate pressing and got the shoddy second re-issue with less care put into it.
So I rooted through my spare plastic record covers and found a nice thick one, and cut and cellotaped it down to size and replaced the cheap wrinkly one they had included. I'm also one of those who likes to remove the plastic wrap but keep the promo stickers and stick them back onto the cardboard. I think a fair few of us do this, as they make those stickers so easy to peel off usually. This one was stuck on with superglue, so I had to cut it off the plastic and stick it onto the top left corner with double sided tape.
Shortly after doing this, I came on here to add the record to my discogs collection and I read heyyinzz's below post, which stated at the end ''This release is an extreme trigger for people with OCD.'' so I would like to second that! Haha! xxx xxx xxx

I got it because of nostalgia. Played side a but I am pretty sure I will never play it again at all. The sound is so low and flat that it's no pleasure listening to.
I've never been a fan of picture disk and this release is the best reason for my prejudices...

A much nicer release if you turn the picture disc around, the plain white background and awful font on the front really ruin it! Hopefully this is a kickstart for Universal to reissue Spiceworld and they won't think we don't need it now they've done this!

sound so bad, scratches on each sides... no skips on my copy... now i wish it release the spice world in black vinyl.
advice : you can buy for the collection but not for listen to because it's not a good deal.
