Amazing to read the comment below over 10 years later, when this song is still in the top Moodmusic Records of the past 15 years. I have been enjoying it for over 10 years and still enjoy it (guilty pleasure obviously) and I enjoy the second version maybe even more. Taking a few notes of a world-famous song and turning it into a track of its own is something crazy, and perfectly legit when it becomes somtehing new and a track of its own. I find this track(s) perhaps the most creative tribute to Michael Jackson's Thriller ever (together with the Thriller choregraphy of Philippino inmates in 2005-2006 :-)

Voo Doo Knight starts off with a reinterpretation of Michael Jackson's Thriller and that sounds so damn good it really gets me going. But then: after 4 minutes it changes and i hear it slipping into mediocrity. Mr Spirit Catcher, please draw the first part madness further and surpass this.
