This is one of those albums that while remaining excellently performed with a great variety of accompaniments and human resources dangerously closes to the generation of a wide laughter in terms of historic comparisions.
Do these people really believe they have an "style" there? or a sound of their "own"? An italian version on Nick Cave and the bad seeds meticulously dissected to sound almost indentical. Largely similar to albums like "Tender prey" and "The bad son"?
The mood of the singer commonly coarsed and copied, the instrumentation line, the kind of lyrics?
I guess many people venerates them dismissing those facts for indulgence or maybe ignorance, the fact is Spiritual front has been doing this for long and continues! and while their realisations are notable to say the least, their originality its at fault.
Nihilism is the lack of perspectives, the death of god leaves the believer in hopelesness and condemns him to believe that there is nothing more to do,anything else to invent, perhaps leaving only an appeal to copy (which is a return to the veneration of old symbols and gods) and remain there unaltered.
That is the ultimate manifestation of "nihilism" the record too.
