Starting out with the positively lovely "Iambic 5 poetry", we can definitely hear a softer side to TJ, if you can say there is one (especially after the Miles Davis-esque freakout that was Music is Rotted one Note). Of course, saying that, we launch straight into "Fly Street", which is another wacked-out drum and bass exercise. More eerie jazz with "The Tide" & "Splask", to straight-up funk of "Two Bass Hit". "Varkatope" is another great drums'n'acid workout. We close with "Gong Acid", which is, given the rest of this great EP, a bit of a disappointment...

Worth seeking out.
