Proof that not all Detriot Hip Hop in the mid 00's isn't all OTT horrorcore themed rap or Eminem copycats: This is a Fantastic debut release, by a band who could've gone that bit further but broke up due each member parting their own way. SP and IQ's production is tight, energetic and funky, Each rapper has their own flow and very reminiscent of De La Soul in the 90s., and its difficult to say who is the best. This been a "underground" hip hop release there is the usual track giving shoutouts to those support the underground etc ("Dedicated"), but there is some comical moments too such as SP's telling of wanting to listen to Hip hop at work ("Saggy Pants") I can only say there one bad track and that is Game Of Steel. If you are to purchase this album its worth getting the JP version, which has a extra track released no where else and then the compliation album Young, Holdt and Bess unlimited, and there is also a pretty decent SP solo album released in Japan too called "Moving Along" which could be a great follow up. definitely recommended for fans of Ugly Duckling, PUTS and DJ Format
