This song sets an incredibly smooth, soothing atmosphere with its jazzy tones and rhythmic samples, along with the utilizations of percussion instruments. Certainly was a significant evolutionary track at the time. Still sounds incredibly fresh present day!

the years go by and pacific stills sound fresh and actual, thanks planet discogs (the site and members) for maintence in the memory all this music...25 years and obviously still remains classic. and the chain of comments surely continues for years

Gerald Simpson has been credited with the utterly brilliant four maj7th synth chords that arguably defines the track.

Essential uplifting house putting 808 States original line-up (inc. A Guy Called Gerald) firmly in the house history books. Wonderful saxophone and keyboard collaboration crossing over-genres and confirming the arrival of house in UK culture.
