Two excellent b-sides on here (I'm going to assume that anyone reading this already knows how great the two album songs on side A are). It's worth buying the 12" and not the CDsingle since "Groove Harder" is only available on vinyl. "Breakout" is a loose mostly-instrumental jam version of "Breaking Into Heaven" off of the LP, with Ian bubbling and babbling away in the background ("get the juice and let's go loose"!) as John, Reni, and Mani meander through the jammy swamp. "Groove Harder" is a fast-paced hard-edge psychedelic slab of motion, also instrumental, but very different feel: backwards looped guitars cut into pieces and pasted in while a forwards-facing guitar solo noodles down the middle, the drums and bass crashing in the background like they're on a downhill trajectory, picking up steam as they head on into town. Despite this, it doesn't really *go* anywhere and ends up feeling more like an excerpt of a longer jam, which it almost assuredly was. Still, great stuff.
