"Next up, a track not many are going to know I don't think (and I'm glad to change that).
Suiciety was a Danish electro-industrial/EBM project of Jan Anderson in the early to mid 90's. Their sound was a very varied and intricate fusion of bands like Front Line Assembly and Leæther Strip with Mentallo & The Fixer and even a hint of Skinny Puppy. Signed to Hard Records, they released one album then vanished. I always loved how elaborate and complex his sequences were, along with really catchy basslines and melodies. My point here was again to beef up the club appeal of the track, as well as space it out a bit differently. In the original track, the initial huge bassline once the beat kicks in disappears after one refrain, something that always drove me crazy because it was so damn good. I fixed that, as well as threw in a couple other elements of my own for fun.
Jan resurfaced a few years ago and unveiled suixiety.com, a compendium site for all the band's music with the entire 'Century of Brutality' album available along with lots of unreleased & demo material. Check it out sometime...he's a real nice guy & I hope I do him proud here."
