This album was released on Geffen Records in the United States with different artwork and titled simply "The Sun and the Moon," minus the b-sides from the "Peace in our Time" 12" and the tracks from the "Alive; Not Dead" EP. In general the album sounds like a watered-down version of Burgess and Lever's former band The Chameleons, with no significant stylistic departures and few memorable tunes. This release was especially disappointing as it came on the heels of The Chameleons' classic epic LP "Strange Times." The bonus tracks from the "Alive; Not Dead" EP are a slight improvement over the album tracks.
