Birmingham, stand up! After Peace and Swim Deep (both almost great bands but not quite) England's second city can finally boast a really awesome Indie band, one able to do something new and great with the genre.

Don't Say That is a super-enjoyable record that is at times silly and at times serious, but never too much any of these two. Britpop's a major influence here (Blur mostly, and some Definitely Maybe-era Oasis too), but elements of psychedelia are also clear in the mix. There's not a single weak track in here, and what's most notable, the album's no mere collection - it shows a clear evolution from partying to self-absorbed to optimist to reflective. Right on Satellite reaches the perfect level of happiness to prepare the listener to the end of the album
