November 26, 2019

This is one of my all time favorite albums. I bought this album on the record and cd fair in Utrecht in november 2019. I bought it because my old copy (the original version from 1972) was in bad shape and because it would give me the chance to chat with Robert Jan Stips, the front man of Supersister, who visited the fair for a short performance to promote the rereleases of all Supersister albums. He autographed the record for me as well.
The album looks a bit odd in this colour vinyl, but that seems to be important these days.
The sound of this re-release is very good. Maybe not as good as the original album, but it sounds quite fresh and quiet. The only problem I have with it is that the end of side 1 is not as it used to be. It's the same as the CD-version. They both have the hidden track A5, but the original version never ended, it kept going in the last groove of the record. On the CD this was not possible of course, so they included a much longer version of this hidden track, and that one ended up being included on this record as well.
