both sides are fantastic! the amount of amazing techno you can get on mid 90s uk techno labels for such good prices is huge, the funk d void tack is v v fast but has a lot of potential for mixing in faster sets, it has a very isolated , bittersweet melody that continues through the whole of the track - looping in and out in phylyps trak style. surgeon track is similarly fantastic, with a very deranged mills style synth line, almost dance mania like energy to its drum programming. after a while you really notice the broken beat loops in the track, really reminds me of 4hero in the breaks.
recommended!!

Merrick Brown had this on one of tapes back in the day ("Electromagnetic Disturbance") and I was pretty stoked to find it in the used bin a few years later in perfect condition. Surgeon's cut is the one- totally sinister and evil, with the trademark crunchy high hats. To my knowledge, "Pagga" only appears on this release.
