Beautiful mastering job is done here! The sound is neutral as it should be,in a very good way.
I could listen to this soundtrack on and on,it is a pure gold!
Pressing quality is a different story!Record I bought was sealed, brand new.It has some very faint background noise on quiet passages and several pops and clicks on the entire record.Got some improvement after a decent wet cleaning but it is far from near perfect!Clicks are still there.

One of my favorite records, makes you feel close to the Ocean. Artwork and pressing quality also on point.

Sven's best. Beautiful underwater images immediately enter your mind upon listening... While the overall sound is good on the Votary Lp reissue, there were some pieces of stamper residue bonded to a few of the grooves creating a rather distracting 'ripping' noise through some of the quieter passages. Such a shame it wasn't pressed better. Maybe it was just my copy.

Has anyone else experienced this?

I would like to get a better copy so that I can play it without the jarring rips, since it's my go-to soundtrack for late nights.

Listening to the track Inner Space, you can see where John Williams took his inspiration for the main Jaws theme

Was "Very Happy" after listening to this soundtrack. Sounds Great! One of those you can play over and over. If they plan another reissue in the future, - "Blue Vinyl" would be super cool!!
