I'll be clear : Svinkels is for French people. It has so much word games that it is almost impossible to understand for a non-French native.
As far as I'm concerned, I primarily love Svinkels because of their amazing instrumentals and their very talented lyricism.

But their reputation is mostly based on alcohol. A big part of their songs talk about that. But other topics such as policy, drugs, death, television and do-it-yurself ("Bricolage").

As a person who don't like alcohol & drugs at all, I shouldn't like this group in normal standards. But, as I said before, their work is incredible and I actually like their way of thinking.
