A1. 'Thank Ya' is based on (or covers) Cheryl Lynn's classic 1978 Disco track ' You Saved My Day'. A massive, massive track in the Chicago disco scene.

B1.'Do It, Do It' is based on (or covers) an amazing disco-not-disco / proto house track called 'Time Warp'. Written and produced by Eddie Grant.

Damn it! I didn't realize this info was already mentioned in the notes section above. Oh well lol .

I am looking for an electro/house dance cover of this song, released 2008-2009. Can U help?

This is one of the most interesting underappreciated 80's Trax releases I've come across.
Side A admittedly does get props as a classic Trax cut, but the B side is what makes this 12" especially interesting. Three tracks that are riffs on other house tracks of that time with different vocals and slightly different sounds that mirror the original. They're sort of re-interpretations of popular tracks including stuff by Mr. Fingers as well as Eddy Grant I believe?
