I wouldn't have guessed it but I love this record. Its not deep garage style or deep boogie style but its what I call Synth-Funk that cross between funk and synth-pop from the mid to late 80s. The only thing that chaps my hide is its a struggle for me to listen to a gender bending gay male sing love songs to the proverbial "girl". Its totally incongruous. Other then that its great. I love me some Miss Syl honey. LOL.
