Has very bad compression, especially on last two tracks on each side. Probably because it was cut very loud

Very compressed, making it have a lot of harsh noise. Hard to listen to because of it

Seems to have really bad inner groove distortion, got it on my end and heard it in someone elses rip.

I am not really convinced by the repress. Just ok. More mediums. Not very dynamic. A bit poor.

Just finished listening to all five vinyl reissues, and I'm really pleased - great pressings for fair prices (I'd gladly have paid twice as much for this quality, so I do feel kinda spoiled.) Takes me right back to my days as an introverted high school kid obsessed with these guys.

This is really good quality for $20. Pressed at Record Industry, the vinyl itself is flawless. Clean surface that is pressed flat and centered with no visible marks or scuffing. Absolutely no surface noise whatsoever, plays with a dead silent background. Sounds good. Not muddy or compressed sounding and decent clarity for a hard rock/metal record where the music can get complex and saturated. In all honesty tho, this reissue probably doesn't offer much more sonic-wise than the CD except for a slightly fuller sound with slightly more resonant drums. Overall, I'm happy that this doesn't sound thin or lifeless. This reissue definitely makes for an enjoyable listen of this album. Can't go wrong here.
