As the needle gets closer to the end of each side, the record becomes noisier. Quite a werid issue, but nothing serious. Still a great sounding record.

Got my copy and I was quite worried about it because of the comments in here, having listened to it I just don't understand how people think this sounds bad. Maybe I'm lucky but my copy was spotless, no static, no background noise, no distortion. To the people wanting to buy this press I would say do it, keep in mind your equipment, maybe that's the reason some people are getting problems with this, mine is fairly standard (Rega planar 1, Onkyo TX-NR676E, a pair of Dynavoice Challenger M-65 EX v4 and a Dynavoice Challenger Sub 10 EX aktiv subwoofer) and it sounds quite good over here.

I do not have the original but the sound quality of this reissue is execrable. noise brouhaha without relief or clarity. Even 10 € promo, it's not worth it.

Not bad but not that good either. You can hear what song is coming, I think because of the tape was winded up very tight and preserved that way. Loads of distortion present. Sounds like loudness enabled, or am I cursing now. Anyway, the original US pressing sounds overall much better.

I own both the US and EU first pressings and this one sounds much better.
The cover is very pixelated tho. It looks like a low quality JPEG.

Looking at the matrix numbers this is going to be utterly terrible. No cutting engineer usually points to zero care in what the actual final sound will be like.
