The exhausted sun sinks into the Miami horizon. All of the industrial chemicals supplanted into the atmosphere bring out the greyish hue to the vivid orange sky under the evening clouds. Your well-preserved Lancia Strata is segwaying over the Venetian Causeway at a steady 57 mph. After having spent your whole day asleep in the sun with a few Caiparinhias at the Shore Club, you decide you've had enough. So here you are. Exiting South Beach for Downtown Miami. Chasing the sun.

If you will, close your eyes. This is the picture of "Lover's Quarrel".

This young Detroiter first made waves on the extremely limited Omoamusic Sampler One with "Contemplating in Humidity," a downtempo blessing about all the nice things that makes us sweat. The track was charted by jazz hooligans Jazzanova, Recloose, and many other like-minded souls.

Now he's back with this debut single on Omoamusic, "Lover's Quarrel." A science fiction film score and New Wave romanticism, wrapped in a seducively slowed-up house groove. The B-side is "Undeniable You (Let Me Be The One)," a vocal soul anthem with a generous dose of Minneapolis funk, featuring Szymanski himself on bass guitar and Malik Alston on vocals.

Adherence to genres in not part if his plan. For Szymanski, the plan is to simply to communicate feeling and inspire people to move. Why? Because that is Good for Party.
