I'm also hearing some of the sibilant vocals, especially on an "S" vocal. I've been hearing this on a few other MOFI releases as well. I would suspect that something in MOFI's technique somewhere in their chain is causing this. It's obvious that many of these presses have an increase in the high EQ to make it sound more Hot or Live. Just a theory, but the sibilant vocals could be a product of this.

Great stuff. Dead quiet, huge stage, excellent dynamics!! Great job MFSL

I have various Electric warrior LPs including 71's UK, USA and lastest Rocktober.
But this is my first MFSL. I can feel some difference from other issues. Though it is not obvious unless I listen to it carefully.
Pros : Wide staging, separation of instrument. Reduction of tape noise to several tracks including "Cosmic dancer or Lean woman blues"
Cons : I hear too much SHHH sound in the vocal than other records.

Gotta say I’m kind of disappointed in this MOFI release. Vocals are very bright and sibilant. That’s my only real complaint though. As to be expected, the background is very quiet and there is very good instrument separation. I was just hoping to have my mind blown with this one, as I usually am with a MOFI release. Having said that, out of the three pressings I own of this album (70s repress and 2010 Rhino) this is easily the best. If you can still find one for $50-$60, I say go for it.

Really nice pressing, dead quiet, dynamic, deep, sounds great..........and I was able to get it for $42.50 shipped ;)

It's a good pressing, with quiet vinyl, and nice dynamics. The bass is wonderful. But somehow I prefer Kevin Gray's mastering.

I prefer the Kevin Gray than the MoFi, MoFi is close but... https://www.discogs.com/T-Rex-Electric-Warrior/release/11034499

This is still available at acoustic sounds for $50 and shipping.

Sounds great on my system (Rega RP10 / Apheta II). No clicks or pops and perfectly flat and centred. Sounds very natural and analogue as it should. Good soundstage. I’d describe the sound as quite warm overall.

Can anyone comment on how this compares to the all analog / Kevin Gray pressing from a few years ago?
