According to Discogs data base - EMI did not exist as a label until 1973. It should not be added as a label to any release before that date. Furthermore it should not be added as a label on any release with a primary branded label such as His Master's Voice, Columbia or Parlophone etc as the boxed EMI logo that appears with the primary label simply implies that the label was part of the EMI Group, not that EMI was a label # Record company appears printed on sleeve and labels as E.M.I (The Gramophone Co. Ltd ) as E.M.I. Ltd was created in 1973 by the renaming of The Gramophone Co. Ltd . According to Wikipedia the release date was 21 July 1972 for Slider..

I have this release but in a gatefold sleeve with songs/lyrics printed on & single deadwax matrix BNL 5001A/ BNL 5001B ( etched ) scratched out side B matrix BNL 5005B... would this be a new submission? I found the answer, it is a Singapore release from 1972 that came in a gatefold sleeve.
