Liverezension von Christian Messner:

After a couple of songs, the singer Lisa Kortschak realised it herself, and took off her socks. Unfortunately you will never experience the incredible infectious power of their music at your home. Their latest album “Am And What” is diverse and truly amazing, but this special extra “mit scharf” can only be experienced while watching them live. It’s only my opinion and I don’t know about your enhancing herbs, but if you get a chance to see them live, GO THERE!

The polar weather couldn’t stop them, to heat up the audience with their performance. The bandmembers are following the vision of Chris Janka’s “different pop-band”, somewhere between jazz, free-form, noise-rock and improvised music. Their changing rhythms will challenge your sins and movements if you are a dancer sort of type. The beauty of their diversity is, that you never know where the song is going and what’s coming next, still you won’t get lost and some catchy hookline or riff will collect you at some point of time and embed you back in the track.

It was my first time to get backstage at the “Chelsea”, though backbar would describe the whole experience much better. Somewhere between beerboxes, freezers and a noisy icecube-machine I had a lil chat with them. Their natural art is really embracing. With no knowledge of their music before, I was really amazed about their live show. If you want to support them, or find out more about their music, check out their bandcamp site.

I feel sorry for not shooting more photos of their gig, but I had to listen and watch them.
