This is not a compilation album or greatest hits LP - these songs have all been previously released (mostly as singles), but these versions are re-recordings of material from Tactics back catalogue and only appear on vinyl on this Red Flame release. Three songs (A1, A3 and A4) were reissued on: Tactics - Sound of the Sand, Volume 2 - a CD only release. As far as I'm aware the other 4 songs are only available on this mini album.
Die hard Tactics fans, like myself, might prefer the original recordings to these new versions, but these are worthy indeed. Fatman is perhaps the stand out track which benefits the most from being re-recorded - it has additional brass i dont remember hearing on the original single version and it clocks in a minute longer. It's worth owning for this alone, but an essential release for all the completists...
Incidently, A digital album entitled Holden Interview #49 is available for download at bandcamp.com, but this is not the same album, but a collection of singles with a few rarities thrown in. A similarly titled song Holden Interview #29 is not included in this compilation either. It's all a little confusing for sure...
