I don't like the sequencing of the album, it is difficult to get a listening mood going when the bubblegum synthpop "Another Word" is stuck in between moody songs "Mirror Man" and "Candy". I would prefer something like:

Disco side (A): Talk Talk, Another Word, Hate, Today, It's So Serious

Chill-out side (B): Mirror Man, Have You Heard The News?, The Party's Over, Candy

That aside, however much I dig their later art-rock outings this is still my favorite Talk Talk album, it is the foundation of their sound, and there are unbelievably good songs on show here like "Hate": rousing tribal synth-pop at it's utter best.
