The MC is Paul Winley's daughter who he heard spittin this whilst skipping with her pals in the yard.

Even if it was written 1980, this single by Tanya Winley, was released in 1979. Moreover, the song was concepted one year before the issue (in 1978). We should consider it as the first 12inch single rapped by a female MC "Tanya Winley". The other earrly rap records in which there's a femela rap were Lady D - "Lady D" (in 1979 later of this one, Reflection Records) and Lady B - "To the Beat y'all" (straight Philly, in 1980 on TEC Records)
