Love this track! It has everything, ruffneck beats and dark bass and synthlines with the sinister vox. This song discribed my favorite sound to the T at the time it was new.

Mark Caro aka Tech Itch at it's finest. Breathtaking, astonishing intros, followed by a polluted, (relatively) aggressive bassline and disturbing, complex drum patterns. Early post-millenium drum and bass awesomeness on his own label. Rarely have I had as great moments as this 12" and Penetration caused all in all. Although still rollers, these tracks are not your typical "disco anthems" e.g. "The Calling" or "Soldiers"…they take more like a sentimentalist and maybe a bit minimalist approach.

Both sides are highly recommended for the one who considers him/herself as a true basshead. I really miss older Technical Itch stuff; his sound has changed, sadly. Or maybe I'm the one who has changed? Who knows..

A very good record in my opinion, with deep, disturbed bass and complicated drums: typically tech itch actually. One precision: the drum structure makes it very tricky for the DJ, not to be mixed by everybody!
