I agree. The sound quality is excellent (as it ought to be as it was originally a radio broadcast), and seems like a solid pressing on 180gr. Fewer songs that the Rhino version, and in a different order, presumably for length reasons, which is a bit of a shame. It would be nice to have the whole gig. Sound quality wise, no complaints.

OK, I bought this version last week. Although the sides are long and the songs unedited, I thought the sound quality was excellent. If there is any editing at all, it would be between songs. There's barely any crowd noise. Each instrument and Verlaine's vocals were clearly separated. It was easy to hear intricate work from Lloyd and all of the little things Ficca does with the drums. I was skeptical, but one listen has me convinced that the quality is every bit as much as you would hope for. I think this is the best live album of all time and this was my first time listening to it lossless and on vinyl, so I may be just blown away at all I had missed before. I doubt anyone would be unhappy with this version though.
