This is absolute rotgut jazz from Japan, a brutal and terrifying display of loops, guitar squalls, atonal drumming and drone that seems to stretch into the infinite. Those impressed with the likes of Kawabata or Michishita or any of today's standards in the Japanese psych scene, look no further. Even better, a second disc of live recordings is included and may be even better than the studio 4-tracks. Anyone loving free jazz, free improv, or psychedelia from beyond the cosmic inferno will love this. Only time -and repeated listenings- will tell if this is a masterpiece.
