There's a niche in rap that's small but important, a niche that gives room for originality, smartness and often craziness. It gives room for groups like Tha Alkaholiks, Moonshine and Funkdoobiest. US rap is usually either gangsta, hardcore or native tongue. But if you feel like listening to something different, something truly of its own aforementioned crews offer something fresh. And skilful.
