Vicar Records was a lowkey but effective Dave Lee & Andrew "Doc" Livingstone UK disco/house label that existed in the mid nineties. The records usually seemed to come with a Vicar Records sticker and the label motto was "The grooves run thicker when they're on Vicar". "On My Mind" was derived from Lee/Livingstone's rather lame major label remix(es) for Charlotte's Queen of Hearts. "On My Mind" on the other hand is an impressive pumped up female vocal house song lacking most of the disco elements of typical Joey Negro outings and retaining only the few parts of the original song not worth replacing. There is no instrumental mix here but I heard an instrumental/dub mix on a Derrick Carter mix tape from long before this record was released. This is perhaps the best example of Joey Negro taking one of his worst outings and permutating it into an irresistible, club-friendly, (should have been) anthem.
