It says a lot that I came back here to express myself even if I'm disappointed in the way Discogs moderators treat contributors. Soit. Initially I was really happy when the reprint of the Bar-Kays' Gotta Groove was announced. But the music isn't special at all, and the pressing (packaging was mint) is awful. Crackles all over the first side, even after cleaning. Craft may pride itself (on the sticker) on Mr Powell's remastering but what good is hiring such an expert if their pressing plant doesn't wash its discs properly or doesn't package in a clean environment. I'm really angry about this because it's the umpteenth time a record that's supposed to be mint simply isn't mint. Vinyl industry do raise your standards please to avoid a "take the money and run" feeling.
