1980 re-issue, after Capitol acquired the United Artists catalog. Originally released in 1964.
Purple label with the large dome Capitol logo.

Uses the same master as the UA pressing, with the Beatles tracks in re-channeled mono. The instrumentals are in true stereo.
Pressed at Capitol's Jacksonville factory, as identified by "0" in the run-outs.

-All previous typos for "Tell Me Why" and "I'll Cry Instead" are corrected.
-Bottom back cover now has Capitol oval and EMI box logos with the accompanying text.
-Bottom cover also now states "Selections contained herein have been previously released by Capitol Records, Inc or United Artists Records, Inc."

This seems to be the first for me with both mono and stereo mixes in a single record. The Beatle's group performances are mono and Martin's instrumentals are stereo mixes.
