This pressing and release is honestly great. There was not a speck of dust or paper or extra wax on any of my three discs, there's no sibilance on the upper end and the deep end is low, booming, and rich. Huge soundstage, and even the sessions sound modulated in such a way that you really feel like you're in the studio and can hear George Martin through the speaker to the booth. It's really quite incredible, it all sounds so full and fleshed out. Lots of great details that you barely notice on older mixes. Super impressed with this release.

A near miss this time, over the White album 50th vinyl, that one was not good throughout, odd improvements could be appreciated. To younger ears this will sound great, to older ears not as warm and smooth as the original, despite those sudo flaws that we all claim to know so much about being tweaked. Yes there are flaws in the old one and there are new flaws with the new one. There is abetter vinyl sound here, than what was created on the White album (Beatles). The CD does sound better as a result. Yes it is a worthy addition to the Beatles collection but not a holly grail yet. The value is possibly in the extras over anything else. Sir Pauls visit during production might have had a big influence there.

My copy has first disc full of hairlines, some are deep enough to be heard and the third disc is warped and jumped all along the first song of each side.
I'm waiting for replacement ,very disapointed.

I have issues at the begining of Something, kind of distortion. Very unpleasant, I 'm disappointed :(

It's here and been played. This new mix is a real treat. Nearly all of the glitches in the original mix have been fixed also. It seems that Preston's organ tracks in the original mix were subject to tape wow and flutter with noticeable speed changes in the organ parts. This has been corrected and it is now smooth and brought forward and more into the mix.

I played Here Comes The Sun on the 50th, a 1970 3rd UK press, a 1976 US Capitol press and the 1979 MFSL press and the CD to be complete. For the old mix, the UK was the best on vinyl and the CD was pretty damn good. If this is just another Beatles album to you, stick with the CD. If it is one of your favorite Beatles albums, then this is an awesome mix and worth getting. Vocals are now centered, clear as a bell, the drums are crisper and again the organ is steady and now more involved which fills out things even more, even though it was always there to begin with. Very well balanced and smoother, yet because of the clarity, the fuzzy guitar parts are even more fuzzy and sharper at the same time. You can even distinguish the tambourine that someone was banging along with on some of the tracks. And on one track that I forget which, I now here someone playing a banjo if I'm not mistaken.

The songs now sound pretty(er) and engage you in a whole new way. This new mix is what I will listen to when I play this album from hereon in.

I also have some brief clicks at the beginning of Something as noted below and I also have two artifacts close together that sound like the tape jumped in I Want You / She's So Heavy. Anyone else ? I bought two copies as I do with any box set like this just in case of some defects. I will open the second one now to see if it has the same defects and report back.

Update: opened the second box and the studio album is great, no noise at all. There are still the two slight hiccups in I Want You / She's So Heavy around the 18:35 - 18:40 mark. Otherwise great. Still have not got into the sessions stuff yet. Also of note although I received both boxes at the same time, they have different stampers. In the runouts the clean one is variant 3. the noisy one is variant 4.

the pressing quality is some of the best i have heard in a while and the remix is great, adding more space to a lot of the instruments and harmonies.

My copy of the remixed original album has some visible flaws at the start of "Because" that causes pops for about 10-15 seconds. Not the end of the world--indeed, I doubt I can be bothered to return the whole 3LP set because of it--but irritating in a new release where such care has been devoted to the mixing, mastering, and packaging etc. Anyway else encountering any similar flaws?

The new mix and mastering, could be better or inferior depending on the listener's preference. I would definitely give it a chance
