Does anyone have a realistsic idea of how many Fourth Proofs there actually are out there ?.
I've seen figures given of 50-100 to 1000.

Was wondering why it was a Australian stereo press in a UK Mono jacket.
I wonder how many came like this.

HEEELLLLOOOOO!!!!!!
What are you complaining about "fake stereo"??
AFAIK, there is no fake stereo on the Pepper's masters.
The 2009 files for all releases in this series are from the original stereo masters. If there is fake stereo somewhere on one of these files, it's as it was meant to be. Period.
IMO:
All these records sound great. The sound is different to the original cuts but not worse. More tonally balanced, more bass and more details with a broader stage.
They were concerned about de-essing and they pushed that a bit too far. This and the more balanced frequencies from the upper mids upwards can sound boring in the first instance but this impression disappears soon.
I like to listen to all of them for a change.
And the European versions are very well pressed.
I can't speak for the US versions, though.

A little different but outstanding non the less! Clean and flat pressing. Very dynamic!

The side 2 label of mine is the label for the 2014 issue of Help!

Has anyone seen this error before?
