Hi, I recently bought the white album on eBay and I would like to know if it is a pressing from 1968, repressing from 1969, or manufactured during some other year? It doesn't have the serial number in the front but it does have capitol records on the record labels. Since the seller is from the west coast it is most likely a west coast pressing.
Thanks, nota2ndtime
P.S. Here is the link to the sale with photos.

Serious question - i just came across a sealed version and am unsure how to tell which issue it is."Stereo SWBO 101" on lower spine in light-colored writing. Small word "Stereo" on top right of back cover. Any ideas how to determine which pressing/release? Thank you in advance.

I can´t find the version of this LP i have. On covers backside is "1C 198-53 171/72" and "Stereo". Inside cover a big poster and four pics of the musicians. The print inside the cover says "Printed and made in Germany by Heinrich Nicolaus G.m.b.H.". The labels on discs printed with "4E 192-04173" and "4E 192-04174" "Made in Sweden" and Copyright "1968". Can anyone help me to find the right version?

The first Yugoslav issue has been released on the very same day as the original one in the UK: on the 22nd November 1968, mastered at and manufactured by Jugoton with the same packaging as the original UK issue (with openings on top edges, containing the double sided poster, four photographs and black inner sleeves) but with yellow in black Parlophone labels.

I have a 1968 Jacksonville & LA/Winchester press mix in a Jacksonville 1st press sleeve (• 0000000), neither matrixes i can find here, wondering if anyone else has them.

Disk 1 : Weighs about 135g, matrix lightly etched, labels corrected to Ob-La-Di/The Continuing Story, O for Jacksonville.
Side 1: SWBO-X1-101 J55 #3 O
Side 2: SWBO-X2-101-J44² #1 O

Disk 2: Weighs about 160g, matrix well etched, labels uncorrected (No. 1/No. 9), * for LA), and a tiny logo of what seems to be the Winchester plant.
Side 3: SWBO-3-101-A34 2 *
Side 4: SWBO-4-101-B35 ─◁ *

Quite interesting.

So it was this version's copy no. 0000001 (owned by Ringo Starr) that recently went for $790,000 and made it into the Guinness World Records as the most expensive record sold at auction?
