This album stands the test of time listening to it almost 40 years later and having bought it at the time of release and not loving it today it's one of my favourite albums of all time up there with the White album and a segway to Big Audio D....

I think people overrate this album because of reputation. I think there was a lot thrown on here without much thought. There is some amazing music but too much chafe, they could have tightened this up and made a much better single or double album. Still obviously worth having if you come across it.

Also existing 2 versions edited by Epic for North American radios as promo in 1980 : Sandinista Now! for USA & Sandinista Sampler for Canada. Both are 1xLP only out on Vinyls of course.
