While the original song is a great uptempo Ska number, the b-side "Hip Hop Remix" by Central Nervous System is without doubt worthy of investigation.

Sounding less like Hip Hop and more like the soundtrack to some late 70's European crime drama TV series, it features a deliciously dark analogue synth riff along with a searing acid line and some seriously funky bass guitar & drumming.

For further investigation into this particular sound I would highly recommend checking out Les Plus Belles Musiques De François De Roubaix Vol. 3, especially the track Cefou s'que jt'aime.

That shit's directly from the 70's.
