Produced in 1984 at a time when it was thought that the original tapes were lost, the tracks for the first side turned up and were used/tweaked so that alterations were made to 'Fool' and 'The Loved Ones'.The second side was completely re-recorded from scratch, and is substantially different, and finally all of the track names were changed "on a whim", all of which makes this a different album to the original 1976 masterpiece.
In my humble opinion it's not as good as the original release, yet it still ranks higher than many other symphonic prog albums which are out there.
