In addition to the text above: I guess this CD has no musical value for those who did NOT experience the (2) live gigs (in Belgium). The concept is nice, the artwork beautiful and the initiative/label needs to be sponsored (therefore I purchased it). However, actually listening to this Forsaken Odes Conglomerate "album" has never been my intention though. A nice souvenir (only).

Knowing the related concerts were taking advantage out of a forty-speaker installation (even though the inlay says thirty), one cannot expect this CD to be as impressive as the said live performances. However, the F.O.C. does not fail to offer a very interesting, intriguing journey through bizarre sound arrangements rather than soundscapes. With an indistinguishable patchwork of sounds, the whole composition forms a unique track more than different tunes flowing into one another, pushing the boundaries of the electronic possible.
Surprisingly, nothing from Olivier Moreau's nor Acid Kirk's is to be found here, despite their contribution to the concerts material, which is maybe a pity.
