For the earlier 1989 version check this release.... ;) https://www.discogs.com/Various-Amphibious-Carbine-EP/release/124860 (I actually prefer this version but can totally appreciate the A Walk On Air (Sunandmoonmix) too)...

Heart-warming to see such an incredible House record getting the love it justifiably deserves. How can you describe perfection? A comparison to a golden left-bank Cabernet-weighted vintage Bordeaux and i dont even drink anymore ffs, or a late-era Max Ernst vision of true alchemy? It seemed to drift slowly out of a period when Deep House joined the elevated heights of the best of any other musical genre. 60 quid is irrelevant if you want a copy, its monumental music with the sublime subtlety of a variety i've never quite heard anywhere else. Right at the confluence of Deep House, Balearic & bone fide magical trance. Thats trance in the hypnotic ego-disintegration sense, not any allusion to Oakenmold or bs fluro-psy-rave-spinner wank. When DJ Seinfeld and Ross From Friends are long long forgotten, this music will still light up the world. Let the gods of rapture play/10

even a quick glance at the cover gives a clear idea about the kind of world one is about to enter when listening to this absolutely phenomenal record. the sunandmoonmix, as the previous reviewer states, is the high water mark of deep house music. larry heard, chris braan, chris gray, boo williams, glenn underground are all masters in their own right and have admittedly produced a longer and more influential body of work than the holy ghost inc, however this outstanding 9 mins of music is not paralleled by any track the aforementioned artists produced, even if 'can you feel it' is a close second. the music, the pads, the stuttering vocal sample (is there anybody on the air?), the chugging kick, the walking bassline, the constantly evolving nature of the composition, all of these factors take the listener into an actually different psychological space. this space is mesmerizing, it is spiritual, it is mystic, it is powerful, but it is also serene, gentle, and peaceful at the same time. this record changed my life as it has to many others before and will still do to others after. best deep house record ever made without question and probably the most vivid and potent expression of cosmic mood ever made.

Imagine a slow building foreplay, bodies being sensually entangled, evolving into a more deeper expression of emotional connectivity, reaching for an ultimate prolonging climax, craving for more and more... and more, all night long untill noon. "A Walk On Air (Sunandmoonmix)" embodies it all and offers more. It lives up to all the promises and expectations, just as true love seems to do from time to time.

This record isn't your average run of the mill production nor musical composition, this record is a state of mind. This isn't just a walk on air, this is a mindblowing journey with your head high up in the clouds, beyond and further.

This is my all time favourite #1 deep house record.
