As reviewed by me in August 1993 (look, I was young and excitable):

The music has a somewhat different sound to what is on Flying High yet it is still really good. "Underground" is tha shit, a pumpin', thick trance cut. The Atonal mix is sparser, 909-oriented, and sounds a little dated. The Ambient mix is incredible! Turns out I had it on a mix tape someone sent me last year. "Flow Motion" is slow, kind of jazzy and quiet, with a lot of dubby bass effects. Buy this now.

The Irresistible Force's first stateside appearance came with his UNDERGROUND EP, which kicks off with the "Atonal Mix" of the title track, with probably more percussion -- a kick drum, even! -- than you'd expect. No more chilling out... it's time to rave! But "Flow Motion" slips into a blippy, sedate mode, and "War And Peace Live" goes for more melodic, nearly beatless techno. "Underground (Ambient Mix)" injects some mystery into the proceedings, and "Space Is The Place (Instrumental Mix)" drifts off pleasantly. A good appetizer, though not as filling as his longer works.
