Obviously a great album! I love the info on the back of this release, I loved this album for a long time before realizing the songs were meant to accompany a screenplay that was never executed. After getting the gist of the story, the album becomes even more enjoyable. I have always thought that the kinks bring a show tune flare to the rock sound of the time and this only proves that in my mind further. Anyways this release is great. The stereo mix here is rich, full of life and detail. The image in the gatefold and lyric insert are all nice touches as well.
