The inside of the front cover of the box is white on this release (the rest of the volumes in the series are pink) indicating an earlier release date.
The release includes an illustrated 16-page booklet "The Story of the Waltz" written by Martin R. Miller. The booklet presents the history of the waltz, the Strauss family, Vienna, Austria and the spread of the popular music form to other countries.
An introductory letter from Mantovani congratulates the customer and advertises the upcoming volumes in the series.
