My copy wasn't very impressive. Kind of poppy and clicky for a brand new record and the second record had a noticeable amount of debris coming right out of the sleeve. Mostly it noticeably seemed very lacking in body and bass compared to other formats I've heard of this album (Spotify streaming, MP3, FLAC). Mid-range notes (such as guitar riffs) also seem a bit staticy.

Still, I'm glad I bought it because it did include a digital download of some very high-quality FLAC files, which sound great.

My copy is great -- louder than most of my vinyls. Maybe I got lucky since most people are saying their copies are quiet. Minimal crackling overall.

My copy is super quiet. No pops, clicks, or general surface noise at all. Nice sound. Not spectacular but very nice. It's a quality product. The poster's a nice bonus, too.

I buy a lot of releases and this vinyl (US edition, white vinyl) is, AT BEST, so so quality. Plenty of annoying ticks and pops pretty much everywhere. Obviously they ruin mostly the quiet passages of this EXCELLENT f*cking album. I'm going to try a blue copy and see if that's better-- but since the US blue vinyl is pressed at GZ Vinyl ("Cheezy Vinyl") it will be a TOTAL crapshoot. They are a mostly "hit and miss" place to get records pressed IMO-- and mostly they MISS. My white vinyl copy (so far I can't tell where the hell it was pressed) was dirty when first removed from the sleeve and it had what looked like a pubic hair on side A (and I swear, it was not my own!), along with bits of crud, vinyl scrap, and scuffs (which are damn hard to see on white vinyl). Anyone that gets a bum copy should definitely contact the label and ask for a replacement or take it back for an exchange if possible. It's the only way quality will improve. Honestly, other than trying to go fast to maximize profits the record pressing plants know full well what they need to do to maximize product quality-- and many, like GZ, Rainbo, United and a several others in particular have the resources to do it right. They just don't give a crap since most people are willing to live with the crap they produce. The more returns they get when they produce said crap the more likely it is that they'll begin to give a crap about quality and consistency.

My copy sounds pretty good, clear and sharp sonically. The pressing is quieter than a lot of vinyl pressings these days. The whole package is nicely put together.
