Jan Vervloet really outdid himself with this release under his The Oblique guise. At first when this record came out probably every person who heard it for the first time was stupified. It's hard to discribe the sound and the type of style on the A1 track (entitled "The Oblique" on later rereleases) but 'deep melodic trance' should cover it. No boring Tiësto-like stuff which flooded the market the latest ten years, but an absolute emotional epic. Maybe nice to know for some people: I remember DJ Marko playing this cut pitched at +4% as well as at a mesmerizing -4% at the infamous La Rocca Sundays. Works well on both speeds.
