In September of that year Ker, a Canadian songwriter, wrote a blog on her myspace saying she was moving to Leeds in the United Kingdom and was looking for musicians to collaborate. As dan was also living in Leeds, it seemed too good an opportunity to turn down.
New songs were recorded over the Autumn and Winter of 2006 and the beginning of 2007 saw The Papertiger Sound play live for the first time, at the Norwich Arts Centre in the United Kingdom. In March, a trip to Stockholm in Sweden saw new songs written, and a plan to continue the band once Kerstin returned home.
Kerstin returned to Canada in July 2007, leaving The Papertiger Sound existing as a transatlantic digital online band.
