One of the things that makes this song the pulsing heartbreaker it is is the technically inaccurate (but aesthetically perfect) synchronization of the drums and for that matter maybe even the piano. The entire track gets this lazy, stuttering drawl from that choice of sampling technique which in combination with the endlessly repeatable chords lends a sad timelessness to the vocalist's "love". This song is unforgettable in my mind and (by the way) is probably the most emotionally rich on Braxe & Falke's "Upper Cuts".

A scarce release on Vulture, but again magic. This track is just wonderful. Hypnotic "10 cc" voices with the repeating "in love with you" drifting on the pulsing beat. The arrangement could have been more interesting, but this is Alan Braxe, love it, or hate it. I love it, that's for sure.

This immediately takes me back to the whole reason why I got into Music(whatever genre!)in the first place. This track reminds me of my early childhood memories(like when you first had a crush on a girl, the first time you went on holiday as a kid etc). On every play of this record I'm taken to a wondrous place of innocence. This is the kind of track that you would find in an 'Avalanches' set.
A Summer Anthem of 2003 in my eyes.
Gorgeous!
I disagree with the last reviewer on the comment about the drum samples etc.
Just HEAR & FEEL this track!
