Okay, this is a genuinely enjoyable album. I totally understand what Zappa and Cobain were talking about when they said this was a great record. I think this way for three reasons.

Reason number 1. It's fucking hilarious. The first time I heard this record I literally fell of the sofa I was laughing so much.

Reason number 2. If you're anything like me, you like weird and unconventional music. This is about as unconventional as you can get. It is certainly not bound by the normal conventions of music. Crazy polyrhythms, nonsensical chord structures, atonal melodies. You name the musical convention, this record hasn't got it. Fascinating.

Reason number 3. This was written by children, without parental guidance it seems. I can detect only the smallest hints that this was influenced by logical, life experienced adults. As such, this record is as close to being a pure, naive creative expression as I have ever encountered. Charming.

All in all, everybody who says this is the worlds worst record has every reason to do so. But for the reasons stated above I really do, unironically love this LP. So there :P

what colour is this edition? Is it black because it doesn't mention a colour?
