PS
I meant to add that this record is mis classified as rock or pop rock. It is Rockabilly, OZ style.

Back in the mid 1970's there was a Rockabilly scene in Melbourne populated by bands like The Auto Drifters, The Fabulous Nudes, The Pelaco Brothers and the Crackajacks. There is a great 12 inch vinyl compilation of them on the Missing Link label. The Sports came out of this scene and Fair Game was the first time any of them made a record. They were great live bands and although they did not bother to hide their influences ( Charlie Feathers etc) they did write original material which gave an Aussie take on the traditional Rockabilly sound. Fair Game is a genuine collectable in my view and if I did not have a copy bought originally in 1977 then I would snap it up.
