This compilation is SO good it makes me almost weep with joy. 90s junglism at its very, very best. Just make sure you listen on a system good enough to do it justice.

One of the best albums I own (including all the usual classics).

I have this in the more recent CD release [edit: i didn't realise theCD came released with the vinyl!! - wish list added to...], and let me say that after many years of searching these gems having them on a single release was, for me, an awesome find. Big up Photek, big up Basement Phil and big up everyone else too.

Ive been collecting music for over 30 years being 45 years young and an original west london B-Boy ive heard a lot of music, from the days of grandmaster flash, Streetsounds Electro onwards into the club house music scene of the late 80s into Hardcore ive seen and heard it all, when Drum N Bass arrived to my ears it was as new to me at that time when i was twelve and heard electro Funk, so fresh and so new it turned into one of my greatest loves, I want to thank Basement Phil for re-pressing the Streetbeats/sentinel volumes as trying to get an original is as rare as finding rockinghorse S**t!! and this set of tunes by rupert parkes to me are some of the most technical and intelligent Drum n Bass tracks that were released there are others but these are no doubt Drum n bass hall of fame, if you don't have these in your collection grab them now while you can and the Price?.... does not matter they are beautifulyl presented sound incredible and yes the slipmatts are the Mutts nuts!!! and on CD too!!! what more can you ask for!!! Thanks to rupert Parkes for the beats and Thank you to Basement Phil for keeping vinyl alive and knowing his music and spotting Proper talent. i look forward and cant wait till the next Pressings of VOL 2 are released nuff Props to Basement Phil for allowing us the chance to own these pukka vinyls!!!

Yup .... to all the moaners ..... what planet are you on? Same cut on 12" has more room than on a 10" so that means more detail and a little more volume. So happy this has been repressed to 12". BIG UP UR CHEST Phil Basement and of course the one they call the Photek. Sh1t like this makes the world a better place. Yush.

If your thinking on buying this ep then please do so i took the plunge and bought it and i must say value for money the slipmats are top notch! the tunes themselves are fab, to get hold of volume 1 2 and 3 you would be very hard pushed as collectors and music lovers do not want to sell. some of them are not even listed for sale. i would like to say a massive thank you for this superb gift set at the right price! i find the negative feedback do not do this repress justice, it is a great quality set and i'm more then happy to have this in my collection.

No idea why some people are complaining about the price! Do you have any idea about the amount of energy, hard work, attention to detail, & money involved in pressing records, not to forget the full artwork & packaging here. The Truper projects has been put together with TOTAL heart & soul by Basement Phil. Anyone critising, why don't you try to put something like this together, just so you know how hard, expensive and intensive the process is in order to deliver a top quality product and above all, a now affordable set of jungle history records. Oi you naysayers sod off, you have little or no idea.

Great Music and I'm glad its been repressed but £20 per 2 track vinyl is a total piss take.

I've supported the Basement Records sound for many years, but this hipster vinyl resurgence is bringing out the greediness in people who I thought understand and respected its loyal music fans. Shame on Basement.
